  Still the best bowl of pho one can find in Eastern Maine. The broth was flavorful and hot. The ratio of noodles to meat to broth was spot on. This is our  only to go pho place in Bangor.
  The shrimp spring roll was fresh and equally yummy.
  Inside there are now 2 tables that can accommodate 6 guests then the little bar can seat 3-4 people.
  There are 2 picnic tables outside if you wish you eat outside in a nice summer/fall day.

  Why four stars? Can you believe (in all of my travels) I have never had Pho? What is wrong with me! I went with a friend who has been to Vietnam and all over Southeast Asia...he said this was really good for "Bangor, Maine."
  
  If you enjoy "hole in the walls" as much as I do, this is the place for you. I had a small vegetarian Pho and the bowl is still bigger than my head. I loved it!! I added a little Sriracha sauce and down the hatch! Sleep away, friends. Add the sprouts, add the Thai Basil and some jalapeño and such a lovely bowl of delicious, healthy food.  Eat it with chopsticks then slurp up the broth. Don't be shy!
  
  I should have grabbed a menu to take home : this is a very small place. They probably do most of their business doing take-out. No alcohol. They have soda, water, and Bubble Tea. It was SO hot in there!!   But really, this isn't a place that specializes in "eating in." It's about the food.
  
  I'll be going back to get a menu and eat more food here. And more Pho. May be my new favorite take-out! Look out Thai Orchid!!

  Got the chicken pho, and it was amazing! Bowl for the smallest size was big enough I could have fit my head inside it--enough for two people if I'm honest, but I was there by myself so I took the rest to go. Easily the richest and tastiest chicken pho I've had. I was surprised by the topping of sliced onions, but it tasted very good. I also enjoyed adding my sides of bean sprouts, fresh basil, lime slice and the optional hoisin and sriracha sauces.
  
  There are a few tables inside that seat two and four, as well as a bar with stools by the window, and picnic tables outside. Don't expect much for interior ambiance or seating for groups however. Also, when I reheated the soup the next day, the noodles dissolved into the broth, so I suspect it's best eaten as soon as possible.
  
  I look forward to going back and trying other menu items with my friends and family in the future!

  First the good stuff: The food is good, like seriously good. We got pho here and they give you the nice little bundle of fragrant Thai basil. It's the little things!
  
  Now, the not-so-good: They don't have any indoor seating to speak of, so if you order it's either got to be nice out and summertime (in which case you eat at the picnic table) or you have to be getting take-out. And it's really expensive if you're going to be getting it to go.
  
  I would love to see this place do well and get bigger digs with proper seating. But the price just isn't warranted by having to take the food home.

  I highly recommend this awesome Pho place in Maine. Our group is from California and we always crave Asian food. We've tried many Vietnamese restaurants in SD, LA, and the Bay Area, but most of them have an msg/salty aftertaste. However, at Pho-Hoa-Grill, the soup flavor is a little bit sweeter than what I had before. Our Vietnamese friend mentioned that in Vietnam, due to the abundance of Pho restaurants, cooks usually add their own spin to the soup flavor. You can tell this place offers authentic, home-made Pho with fresh ingredients. I ordered stewed flank beef, large portion; it was super delicious and we loved it. If you ever visit the area, definitely try this place out!
